Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc. Appoints a New President

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc. (YOHTA) has announced a change in leadership today. Dhaval Nanavati, President of YOHTA, has made the decision to leave the company after 11 years with Yokohama/Alliance Tire Group. David Geraghty, who is currently Global Head of OE and Assembly Business, has been appointed to serve as President of YOHTA effective July 25, 2022.

The new Alliance 590 flotation radial from Yokohama Off-Highway Tires features three layers of steel belts under a cut-resistant tread compound—a powerfully puncture-resistant combination for the heavy tankers, wagons and pull-behind sprayers used on farms and construction sites.

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc., introduced an 875/65R29 size of its rugged Yokohama RT41 L-4 radial for front-end loaders, adding the popular 29-inch size to its RT41 lineup.   

Building on its dominance in the global port and container handling industry, Yokohama Off-Highway Tires has released its popular Yokohama RR42 IND-4 steel-belted radial in the 480/95R25 size. Capable of loads of up to 37,500 pounds (17,000 kg) at 15 mph and rated for speeds up to 21.7 mph (35 kph), the larger version of the RR42 is built for the new class of straddle carriers that are increasing container handling efficiency.
