Alliance Tire Group, the global leader in agricultural, forestry, construction and material handling tires, today announced the appointment of Mr. Nitin Mantri as Chief Executive Officer. Having joined the company as CEO Designate in February this year, Mr. Mantri has spent the last few months taking over the reins from Mr. Yogesh Mahansaria, Founder and CEO who will be leaving the company. ATG was fully acquired by The Yokohama Rubber Company last year.
Mr. Mantri joins ATG from Cummins Inc., Columbus, IN, USA and comes with over 23 years of global experience in General Management, Operations, Business Development and Strategic Planning. At Cummins Inc., he last held the position of General Manager for their Fuel Systems business, where he led a team of over 3000 employees across 5 countries and was responsible for a $600M P&L.
Prior to joining Cummins, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group in their Atlanta office, developing business strategies for Fortune 500 companies. He has also worked at Comau-Pico, a division of Fiat SpA in Detroit and also at Bharat Forge in Pune, where he started his career as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Mr. Mantri is a Mechanical Engineer from Pune University and has completed MS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
