The launch of the 2015 Luke Bryan Farm Tour last night was more than the kick-off to two weeks of jam-packed dates with one of country music’s hottest stars—it was another opportunity to work directly with a big part of Alliance Tire's customer base.
“Signing on to support Luke Bryan’s 2015 Farm Tour is a way for ATG to ally with one of the most talented singers in the business, to introduce our brand to country fans, and to say ‘thanks’ to the farmers who have helped us to become the world’s fastest growing off-highway tire company.” said James Clark, president of Alliance Tire Americas, Inc.. “The fact that Luke will perform on working farms is key because farmers play such an important role in the health of our country, and in ATG’s business.”
Alliance’s branded promotional trailer will follow Bryan on his swing through Indiana and the South to spread the word about the company’s agricultural, construction and forestry tires, and to put its marketing, sales and technical staff in touch with a wide range of tire customers in a festive atmosphere on farms across the southern U.S. The trailer is also a familiar sight at many National Tractor Pullers Association competitions, where Alliance has been the exclusive tire sponsor for two years.
Clark says that interaction with current and potential customers was exactly what ATG was aiming for when it arranged the sponsorship. The company gave away trips and hundreds of concert tickets to its customers, distributors and lucky winners from among thousands of entrants around the country. These promotions connected the company with farmers and other equipment operators who might be interested in ATG’s Alliance, Galaxy and Primex brands.
“Because we couldn’t sell tires without our distributors, we made them a central part of many of our promotions for the Luke Bryan tour,” says Clark. “This promotion is a chance to celebrate great music, great customers, the great American agriculture industry, and, of course, great tires.”
