# Forestry Equipment Your Christmas Tree Should Fear
As the popular saying goes “boys love their toys”—and who can blame them! We are working constantly on refining and improving our tires, to ensure our customer gets the most technologically advanced, highest-performing, and longest-lasting off-highway tire on the market. It’s easy for us to keep our eyes focused on the ground, as we monitor a tire’s compaction, flotation, and inflation, but every now and then we pick our heads up and remember that we outfit some truly outrageous machinery. We would love to see any of the machines listed below underneath our Christmas tree this year, and we would also enjoy watching our tree tremble in terror at the sight of any of this awesome forestry equipment.
**There is nowhere to hide from the Jarraff 4-Wheel Drive Tree Trimmer**. Used for everything from general forestry to land clearing, logging to R.O.W. and tree service, this machine is capable of rotating 360 degrees and laterally tilting up to 40 degrees. Ready to tackle the tallest trees and branches, the Jarraff Tree Trimmer features a telescoping boom capable of reaching up to 75 feet. The boom is equipped with a 24-inch carbide-tipped blade that spins at 3,200 RPM! With 4-wheel drive, a multitude of tire options, and an 8-foot push blade, this Jarraff can harvest your Christmas tree almost anywhere you find it. Heck, it could even pluck you a tree by just lopping off the top of a really tall tree.
**Capable of turning a Christmas tree farm into a pile of mulch in minutes, the Barko 930 Industrial Tractor is one mean machine.** Engineered to handle the most demanding R.O.W. land clearing and site work, this fearsome piece of equipment will demolish almost anything in its path thanks to its hydraulic ax mulcher, which turns trees to wood chips in short order. If the hydraulic mulcher doesn’t get your attention, the imposing dimensions of the Barko 930 will. It’s over 20 feet long, just under 9 feet wide, and weighs 30,000 pounds. Want to make sure no one gets a Christmas tree this year? This 300 horsepower beast is the first choice of Grinches everywhere.
**If a James Bond villain could fall in love with a piece of machinery, it would certainly be a John Deere 1470E Wheeled Harvester.** This six-wheeled harvester is capable of operating almost anywhere in the forest, even if it has to climb a mountain to get there. Once in position, the 1470E Wheeled Harvester can slice and dice its way through trees all day long. Engineered to cut a tree at its base, lift it up, slice off the limbs, and then cut it into logs, this is one fearsomely efficient piece of machinery. With its customizable harvester heads, there’s hardly a tree in the woods that it can’t handle. Bring this incredible machine with you to the “Cut Your Own Christmas Tree Farm” and you’d have firewood for the whole neighborhood pretty quickly.

We would be happy to see one of these awesome machines under the tree this year (we would even be happy just to get to play with one of them on Christmas day). While we probably won’t see one of these cool toys under our tree, we’re happy to know that many of these marvelous machines come equipped with our tires.
