The team at Alliance Tire Americas had a fun and very productive time in Decatur, IL at the Farm Progress 2015 Show last week.
It was a terrific show and the weather was great, but very hot. Thankfully there were no rain-outs this year!
The booth was buzzing from morning to night, with onlookers fascinated by NTPA tractor pulling champion Doug Lively's Bank Robber!
Another big draw at the booth was our increased flexion (IF) Alliance Agriflex 363 sprayer tire.
The IF 363 is part of our IF/VF product line, which is one of the largest selections of increased flexion tires available--worldwide. With the capacity to carry 20% more load at the same inflation pressure as standard radials, or to carry the same load as conventional radial tires at 20% less inflation pressure--the Alliance Agriflex 363 improves efficiency while minimizing soil compaction.
On this Case IH Patriot 3340 sprayer, that's a great way to carry a full 1,000-gallon tank to keep moving across a lot of acres...with a tread designed to grip in soft surfaces and ride smoothly and efficiently over the road. The IF technology behind the Agriflex 363 is a superior way to address the challenges today's sprayer operators and tractor operators face every day.
As we reported here on the blog in June, tire testing in the fields and on the roads across America is confirming that we've hit a home run with the Alliance Agriflex 363 -- nothing but great results and feedback from happy farmers.
Throughout the show, people were lined up 20 deep to turn the Spin and Win wheel for a chance at great giveaways. We handed out thousands of hats, t-shirts, and other Alliance swag.
We were most pleased with the opportunity for our engineering and marketing teams to connect with farmers from across the Midwest. They told us what makes tires work best for them and gave us valuable insight into how we can improve and what we should keep doing. Feedback from the field drives our continuous new-product development, helping us create new tires to meet new challenges.
