Earth Day is Every Day
The world will celebrate Earth Day’s 45th anniversary today in all sorts of ways, from cleaning up litter to batting around huge earth balls to good, old-fashioned protests.
We’ve got April 22 on our calendar, but mostly to remind ourselves that every day is Earth Day for us. Here are some of the ways we celebrate year ‘round:
-
Our tires help farmers and ranchers operate more efficiently and effectively. That’s vital to feeding, fueling and clothing a growing global population.
- Our engineers continually fine-tune tire design, compounds and construction to improve fuel economy by reducing forces such as rolling resistance.
-
Our team--including Victor Mark of Winnipeg, MB, pictured below on the left -- is out in the field talking to customers about their needs, continually helping create tires to meet the demands of new practices and bigger, faster, more efficient machinery.
- Durable, reliable tires keep Alliance, Galaxy and Primex rubber on machinery—and out of landfills or reclamation programs—longer.
- Our flotation tires can dramatically reduce soil compaction, protecting yields and helping ensure farm sustainability for years to come.*
- Primex and Alliance forestry tires are designed to minimize compaction pressure in the fragile top few inches of forest soils, protecting vital stands of timber, reducing erosion and setting the stage for healthy reforestation.
From all of us, we wish you a happy, healthy and productive Earth Day…every day.
