Alliance Tire Americas Launches Massive Increased Flexion (IF) Harvest Tire

As of Jan 1, 2021, Alliance Tire Group and Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. changed their names to Yokohama Off-Highway Tires and Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc respectively. The Alliance, Galaxy and Primex brands and product names remain unchanged. Product information is available at www.yokohama-oht.com.

Standing nearly seven feet tall and more than four feet wide, the new Alliance Agriflex 372 IF 1250/50R32 CFO tire from Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. is a massive step toward minimizing soil compaction. Thanks to increased flexion (IF) sidewall technology and precision engineering, each of these huge tires can carry up to 22,480 pounds at an inflation pressure of just 46 psi, which helps reduce yield-limiting compaction that can be caused by combines and grain carts, says James Crouch, Agricultural Marketing Specialist for ATA.

Don’t Get Left Out in the Cold, Consider a Solid Tire

A Smart Reason to Invest in Solid Tires

No one is ever excited to get a flat tire on their skid steer—it’s time-consuming, expensive, and almost always occurs at the worst possible moment. Getting a flat in the winter is especially annoying, because as terrible as it is to fix one in the middle of the morning’s chores, it’s far worse when you have to bust out the breaker bar in the biting cold. Of course, equipping your skid steer with a solid tire can make this difficult task a thing of the past.

The Almond Joy of Making Tires for this Nuts Crop

Nuts About Ag Tires

Scrap yards, demolition sites, and remote logging locations are the images that first come to mind when we brag about a tire’s ability to work in the world’s harshest terrain and landscapes. What most people don’t think of are the lush almond orchards of California's Central Valley—where 80% of the world’s almonds are grown—however, the manner in which almonds are harvested creates unique challenges for the industry’s specialized machines, not to mention their tires.
