Alliance Prepares to Break Ground on its Third India Plant

As of Jan 1, 2021, Alliance Tire Group and Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. changed their names to Yokohama Off-Highway Tires and Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc respectively. The Alliance, Galaxy and Primex brands and product names remain unchanged. Product information is available at www.yokohama-oht.com.

Alliance Tire Group, a Yokohama group company, announced today that it will build a new plant in India’s Special Projects Zone, Atchutapuram Industrial Park, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh for the purpose of expanding production capacity. The new plant will have a daily production capacity of 55 tons (rubber weight) with planned capital investment totaling US$165 million. Construction will start in the third quarter of 2020, and the new plant is scheduled to come on line in the first quarter of 2023.

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc. Launches Ag Tire Rebate

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America has launched a Farmers First Ag Tire Rebate program of $100 per tire for many of its Agriflex IF and VF tires, and $75 per tire for Agri Star II farm radials 30 inches and larger. The rebate is available for certain farm tires purchased between September 1, 2020, and January 31, 2021.
