Alliance Tire Americas (ATA) announced the opening of its fifth North American warehouse today in Bolingbrook, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. The 80,000-square-foot facility puts hundreds of OTR tires from Alliance, Galaxy and Primex—as well as Aeolus truck tires, for which Alliance serves as sole U.S. representative—within one or two day delivery to 90 percent of the U.S. and the majority of the Canadian tire market. 

"With its central Midwestern location, our new warehouse is ideally located to serve the North American farm tire market, as well as meet the strong construction and industrial OTR tire demand in the region," says Jim Clark, President of ATA "We have selected an area that will allow convenient 'will-call' pick-up opportunities for our partners and dealers within easy driving distance of the facility.

 "We are stocking the new warehouse with more than 165 SKUs that best meet the diverse needs of our dealers and their customers in the region," Clark says. "Of course, our dealers also have access to more than 2,000 other designs, sizes and specifications from our Alliance, Galaxy and Primex lines to meet nearly any challenge, any day, in any condition."

Clark says the new warehouse is part of ATA's continuing commitment to better serve tire dealers and distributors throughout the country. Over the last year, ATA has also added a new warehouse in southern California and several new business development, sales and customer service personnel.
