What We Can Learn from European Farmers

How European Farmers are Benefiting From Our Tires

As a part of a global tire company, I am always very interested in what my colleagues are seeing around the world. I recently got a bunch of photos from Europe of Alliance tires in a wide range of applications. While farmers in the United States are still learning about the incredible advantages of using our farm tires, European farmers were early adopters and realized that our tires solved many of the issues they faced on a daily basis.

Farmers Are Under Pressure: Inflation Matters

Tips to Ensure Properly Inflated Farm Tires

I’ve spent the past couple of months in the field inspecting Alliance tires across the Midwest as farmers have rushed to plant this year’s crops between spells of rain. It’s great to see corn and soybeans emerging across the Corn Belt, especially in fields that aren’t rutted by traffic.

Hawman Farms Takes Alliance 363 IF On The Road

The Alliance 363 AgriFlex Tire Hard at Work on Hawman Farms

One of our guiding principles is that we work to solve real problems that affect our customers in the field. While the urge to get to the chores of tilling, spreading, spraying, and planting are strong, patience this time of year is preached, as farmers are liable to do more harm than good by getting into the field too soon. However, patience can be difficult in practice as the clock ticks away and farmers have to get their fields prepared and producing. To make matters worse, delays in the spring can negatively impact yields come harvest time.
