Smart Vests, Apple's Spaceship, And Other News

New Smart Vest promises increased safety for construction workers. Designed to help prevent cars from crashing into work zones, the Smart Vest is the brainchild of researchers at Virginia Tech University. The Smart Vest is equipped with sensors that send a signal to the entertainment systems of approaching cars, warning drivers of an oncoming construction zone. The vest can also be programmed to warn the worker of approaching traffic. Accidents in roadside construction zones has been a real problem in United States; between 2003 and 2010, 962 workers were killed at roadside construction sites.
