# A Tough Tire for Tough Jobs
Perhaps no group faces a more challenging collection of problems than our forestry tire customers. If dilemmas such as a lack of labor, fluctuating markets and erratic weather weren’t enough, today’s loggers need to move huge, high-horsepower machinery into often-remote and difficult-to-access parts of the forest—and then they have to remove huge, heavy timber from the forest. On March 21 this year, countries around the globe will celebrate [International Day of Forests](http://www.fao.org/international-day-of-forests/en/). Entering its fourth year, the purpose of International Day of Forests is to celebrate and raise awareness for the importance of our forests, and the theme of this year’s event is *The Forest: Nature’s Powerhouse*. The power of the woods is something we're acutely aware of; as wood-based fuels continue to become more efficient and powerful, they are increasingly seen as one of the next important sustainable energy sources.
