Alliance Tire Releases a New VF Implement Tire to Reduce Compaction

As of Jan 1, 2021, Alliance Tire Group and Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. changed their names to Yokohama Off-Highway Tires and Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc respectively. The Alliance, Galaxy and Primex brands and product names remain unchanged. Product information is available at www.yokohama-oht.com.

Alliance Tire Americas, has released a new, very high flexion (VF) radial to broaden its popular 381 series implement tire—the Alliance Agriflex+ 381. The Agriflex+ version of the 381 is being launched in the VF320/70R15 154D size, which replaces 12.5L-15 tires on cultivators, disks, farm wagons, utility trailers and other implements.

About a month ago, our cousins at Alliance Tire Group of Europe took over the famed Audi Experience Driving Center in Neuburg an der Donau, Germany, to introduce our high-speed Alliance 398 MPT tire to the European market. Though the 398 MPT—the industry’s only DOT-rated directional flotation tire—debuted in the North American market at last year’s Farm Progress Show, our counterparts across the pond substantially upped the ante by putting a mix of journalists and industry partners behind the wheel of real farm equipment and letting them put our claims to the test.

John Deere or Case? Ford or Chevy? Tire or tracks?  After decades of discussion, farmers still disagree over the appropriate answers to these questions. While we won’t weigh in on Deere vs. Case or Ford vs. Chevrolet, we do have an opinion (although it might be a bit biased) about the superiority of tires to tracks and we’re pretty sure that, after reading this, you’ll agree that tires are equal to or exceed tracks in performance, while costing substantially less.
