Tired Of The Same Old Halloween Costume

Our Favorite Tire-Themed Halloween Costumes

We love tires and pride ourselves on developing the highest performing, most durable, and technologically advanced products in the industry. While most of the year is spent trying to create the best, highest-value tires on the market, when Halloween rolls around we like to take a little break and think about having fun with tires.

This year we thought we would honor a classic. The tire tracks painted on a face or shirt costume is timeless. With its perfect combination of simplicity and humor, this costume is great and will continue to be great as long as people are still using tires (sorry hovercrafts and hoverboards, but we hope tires stick around awhile). By itself, the treadmark costume is a staple of Halloween–but dress it up and it can be exceptional.

A simple treadmark on the face is an easy DIY holloween costume. Add some light brusing and make the costume even more effective.

If you have a taste for the gruesome, then this run-over crossing guard costume is a grisly spin on the old classic. Even better–turn this into a timely and hilarious-yet-gory couples costume by dressing up your significant other as a car. (For bonus points, have your significant other pretend to be on his or her cell phone while driving.)

Here is a much cuter version of the run-over crossing guard if you're trying to keep the gore to a minimum. With a few simple modifications, you can easily turn this crossing guard into a run-over construction worker, traffic cop, or farmer. The possibilities are endless.

We stumbled across this great costume for the pregnant person in your life and are torn over what we like more: the costume or the pun. The speed bump costume is a playful way to incorporate your pregnancy into your Halloween festivities.

Taking the tire tread theme one step further is the roadkill costume. Like many of the iterations of the tire mark costume, you can make this as macabre as you like. We have also seen some great couples versions of this costume by dressing up your significant other as anything from a car or a tire to the road itself.

Remember, you only get to dress up like this once a year, so have fun with it. We've shared a few spins on the classic tire tread costume, but we want to see what you come up with this year.
