The Marshall Tucker Band at SEMA

Working in Concert with The Marshall Tucker Band

The unique sound of the Marshall Tucker Band comes from their blending of rock and roll with country and adding in a dash of jazz, blues, and gospel. It’s this sound and hits like Fire on the Mountain, Heard it in a Love Song, and Can’t You See that helped make them one of the preeminent Southern rock groups of the 1970s. Still going strong and sounding better than ever, the Marshall Tucker Band is going to be playing an exclusive show for our dealers, partners, and industry friends at the Hard Rock on the Strip at SEMA this year! In case you haven’t kept up with the band, here’s a quick refresher on this iconic group and a few reasons why you won’t want to miss the show on Wednesday, November, 2 at 8 pm.

Meet Us at Farm Progress

Gearing Up for One of the Biggest Farm Shows of the Year

This year, the end of August marks the beginning of one of the most important and best attended events on our calendar: Farm Progress. Starting on August 30 and running through September 1, Farm Progress is one of the the largest outdoor farm equipment shows we go to, with attendance expected to exceed 100,000 people. Although we realize we can’t explain the benefits offered by our agricultural tires to all 100,000 Farm Progress showgoers, we welcome the chance to try. Here are a few good reasons to swing by and meet some of our representatives at booth 155.

Meet Our Olympians

Rolling into Rio with Winning Tires

With the world’s best athletes gathering in Rio for the 2016 Olympic games, everyone’s focus has turned to the games to determine who is truly the best at their craft. While we’re busy consuming the games around the office, we are also always thinking about tires (after all, those Olympic rings sure look like tires!), and can’t help but liken our tires to the world-class athletes we are watching. We have found ourselves using the same adjectives to describe our tires that the announcers use to describe the athletes. Power, strength, agility, stability, and longevity are just some of the adjectives that come to mind when describing our tires, and are echoed again and again on the Olympic broadcasts. In the spirit of the Olympics, here are some of our medal winners from ATG.

Giving Retired Tires a Second Career on the Farm

New Life for Old Farm Tires

We build all of our tires with performance, durability and long life in mind. Despite using the best engineering and materials, however, even our long-lasting tires will need to be put out to pasture. But just because a tire is no longer useful on your tractor, combine, or spreader doesn’t mean that it can't still provide valuable service.

The internet is full of crafty ways to "upcycle" old tires into useful items around the house and garden - In fact we posted a blog last year about an artist who uses old tires in his monstrous creations. While it's fun to play, some folks will nevertheless want to keep their tires hard at work on the farm rather than in the landfill or tire dump.
