# 5 Reasons to Visit the 48th Annual WasteExpo
Entering its 48th year, [WasteExpo 2016](http://www.wasteexpo.com/we16/public/enter.aspx), which serves both the public and private sectors, is happening June 7-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The WasteExpo expects to attract more than 600 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees—making it North America’s largest solid waste, recycling, organics, and sustainability trade show. More than just large, WasteExpo is overwhelmingly popular with 96% of attendees saying they would recommend attending the expo to a colleague. Not convinced that this is the event for you? Here are five reasons you should plan on attending WasteExpo 2016.
## **Learning**
WasteExpo 2016 has teamed up with the [National Waste & Recycling Association](https://wasterecycling.org/) (NWRA) to create a top-notch conference program for this year’s expo. Speakers and industry experts will keep you up to date with the latest technology, most recent news, and latest research while presenting business insights that you can take home and begin implementing immediately.
## **Solutions**
WasteExpo is the perfect place to discover solutions to your business’s problems. Speakers and industry experts can offer insights and best practices while the opportunity to meet and interact with your peers might present the answer to the questions you’ve been asking. Also, there will be more than 600 vendors on site to highlight the software, systems, and equipment that is revolutionizing the industry, presenting an incredible chance to see and touch these products in person.
